12 Days of Christmas Sangria
I'll be honest: I am not the biggest fan of Christmas music. There are few that I genuinely enjoy and most of them are versions of "White Christmas." But another classic that I like is "The Twelve Days of Christmas," probably because it is a British song based on a French poem and I love both of those countries. I will admit that the first verse gets a little annoying after you sing it a thousand times, but I like the idea of a little partridge perched in a pear tree. So when I was coming up with a holiday sangria recipe, I knew it had to include pears. This sangria also includes gin because it goes well with pears and, quite frankly, it tastes like Christmas.
Now I just need a partridge!
